Terms of service

Kept Mems is a private collection of memories.

Describes the product as of 29 September 2026. This is a plain account of how use works, not a lawyer’s review.

Using Kept Mems

You use Kept Mems with the Google account you sign in with. The first sign-in opens an empty private collection. Memories you later ask to keep stay in that account.

The privacy policy says what is stored. These terms say how the product is used.

Sign-in

Sign-in is Google. Signing in lets you read your private collection in the browser. Signing in does not, by itself, connect ChatGPT.

Sign out ends the browser session. It does not delete the collection, revoke a key, or disconnect an assistant.

Connecting an assistant

ChatGPT connects by adding the Kept Mems plugin: https://chatgpt.com/plugins/plugins_6abb041c87f481918cbee31a52d48dff. Adding that plugin is its own step. The sign-in button on this site does not add it.

Cursor uses a personal access key against https://keptmems.com/mcp. You make the key on your account page, and you can revoke it there. The key is shown once.

A Claude plugin is planned, not launched.

An assistant you connect can read and change memories in that account, within the tools that connection has. A Cursor key can archive a memory and read earlier wording. The ChatGPT connection can list, search, read, save, correct, and permanently delete memories, link and unlink them, attach and remove files, and publish or unpublish. You choose when to connect an assistant, and a key works until you revoke it.

Your memories

Memories, files, and links stay in that person’s account. The browser collection is for reading. Saving, changing, linking, and deleting happen through an assistant you have connected.

Permanent deletion happens when you ask for it and the confirmation is exactly “permanently delete”. That removes the memory’s prose, earlier versions, files, links, and published copy from the service. A short record of the deletion can remain, as the privacy policy describes. Archive hides a memory and keeps it. Archive is not deletion.

Publishing

Publishing is optional. A published copy is separate from the private memory. Later private edits do not change that copy until you publish again. Withdrawing it hides the copy and leaves the private memory. On this site, published copies are listed for the signed-in account that published them. Someone who is not signed in does not see that list.

Payment

Kept Mems does not charge you and does not collect card details.

The account

There is no control in the product that deletes the whole account. You can sign out, revoke a key, and permanently delete a memory when you ask an assistant to. To ask about the account itself, write to karna.jani@gmail.com.

The service can change as the product changes. These pages will be updated to match what it does. There is no promise that the site will be available at every moment.
